Our approach
ImpactNest works with stakeholder data as part of its practice. Social impact measurement requires collecting data to understand change in people's lives. We therefore treat data privacy not as a compliance burden but as a methodological part of our work.
This policy concerns visitors to our website. Stakeholder data collected in consultancy and research projects is governed by a separate contract and data processing protocol signed for each project.
What we collect
We collect only the information you send us yourself. The site does not track visitor behaviour, does not build profiles and does not share data with advertising networks. A detailed list is in the Privacy Notice.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing.
- We do not send newsletters or promotional messages without your consent.
- We do not store your raw IP address.
- We do not use tracking infrastructure that profiles visitors.
How we protect your data
The site uses HTTPS to encrypt data in transit. Access to the admin panel is role-based and every action is logged. The database is kept in a directory the web server cannot reach. IP addresses in form submissions are stored as an irreversible hash, not in raw form. Records whose retention period expires are deleted automatically. That said, no transmission over the internet is one hundred per cent secure; we take reasonable technical and administrative measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's data
Our site is not directed at anyone under eighteen and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Third-party links
Our site links to organisations such as Social Value International, UNDP and Capitals Coalition. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Your rights and applications
